Terms of Service
Last updated October 23, 2026. These terms cover @teton.id addresses and the account used to pay or cancel.
1. Who we are
Teton Mail (“we”, “us”) sells addresses on the domain teton.id and the account used to pay for them or cancel them. These terms are a contract between Teton Mail and the customer who buys an address (“you”). A postal address will be published here before the service takes live payments. Until then, write to legal@teton.id.
2. The service
We sell an email address such as name@teton.id for $30 a month, or $300 a year. The price covers the address and the account. Mail for the address is provided by a separate mail service. This website does not host that mail.
You do not receive the teton.id domain, a registrar transfer, nameserver control, or the right to publish your own DNS records on teton.id. You may not present the service as ownership of the domain.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract. You must give a name and a contact email you already control. The contact email cannot be the new @teton.id address, because we use it to reach you if the address is suspended.
You are responsible for the people you allow to use the account, for keeping the account credentials confidential, and for activity under those credentials. Tell us promptly at support@teton.id if you believe the account is compromised.
Keep the account information accurate. We may refuse, reclaim, or rename an address that was obtained with false information.
4. Addresses
Usernames are 2–32 characters, stored in lowercase, and may contain letters, numbers, and single dots, hyphens, or underscores. They must start and end with a letter or number.
We reserve role addresses we need to operate the service, including postmaster@, abuse@, security@, privacy@, billing@, support@, and legal@. We also refuse names that impersonate another person, a government agency, or a well-known company, or that are likely to be used for fraud. We may reclaim an address that later draws a credible trademark or impersonation complaint.
A search result of “available” does not hold the name. The name is assigned when payment for it succeeds. If two customers pay for the same name, we provide it to the payment that clears first and refund the other.
5. Price, payment, and renewal
There is one price, listed on the pricing page in US dollars, and tax may be added. Monthly billing is $30. Yearly billing is $300, paid once for the year. Either choice renews automatically until you cancel. A renewal is charged to the payment method you provided.
You can cancel from the account page before the renewal date. After you cancel, the address stays assigned until the end of the term you already paid for. We do not refund unused time except as the Refund Policy describes, or where a mandatory law requires more.
If a renewal charge fails, we retry for up to 7 days and then suspend the address. A suspended address can be released on the schedule in section 9.
We may change the price with at least 30 days’ notice by email to the account address. The price you already paid covers the current term. The new price applies at the next term. If you do not want it, cancel before renewal.
Payment methods on the live service are card, PayPal, and, if offered, crypto through a processor. We do not store full card numbers. The checkout on this website draft is a simulation: it does not charge anyone and does not assign an address.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. You are responsible for mail sent from the address, including mail sent by people you authorize. The separate mail service carries that mail. We do not host it on this site.
You must comply with anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to your messages, including the US CAN-SPAM Act, Canada’s CASL, and the EU GDPR where they apply. Bulk unsolicited email is forbidden. We do not provide a bulk-sending product.
7. Availability
We aim to keep a paid address assigned for the term you paid for. Delivery of mail is handled by the separate mail service and is not guaranteed by this site. A receiving server, a filter, or a network can still reject or delay a message. An address is not a guaranteed archive, a phone service, or an emergency channel.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow those disclaimers, and you may have rights that cannot be waived.
To the extent the law allows, Teton Mail and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total liability for a claim arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the address in question during those 12 months.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
You will indemnify Teton Mail against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your messages, your violation of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of someone else’s rights, except to the extent the claim was caused by our breach of these terms.
9. Suspension and termination
You may close the account from the account page or by email to support@teton.id. Closure at the end of a term is not a refund.
We may suspend or end an address if you do not pay, if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if we must do so to comply with law, or if the address is being used to harm others. For a curable problem that is not spam, phishing, malware, or legal compulsion, we will email the contact address and give you a reasonable chance to fix it before we end the address.
When an address ends, we may offer the local-part to someone else. Message retention, if any, is handled by the separate mail service. The Privacy Policy explains what this site keeps.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above. If a change is material, we will email the contact address at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep a paid address after the effective date, the new terms apply to the next term. You can cancel before then.
11. Governing law
Placeholder. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Teton County, Wyoming, are the agreed venue. This sentence is a placeholder for counsel to replace before launch. If a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country gives you a right to sue at home, that right still applies.
